Get Involved

Ways to take action - from small acts of hope to deeper commitments of time and heart. Start with what you can do today.

⏱ Under 5 Minutes

  • Call your reps. Look them up at whoismyrepresentative.com. Leave a voicemail with your name, zip code, and what you support or oppose.
  • Share a link. Forward something meaningful to someone who might care. That’s it.
  • Check your voter registration. Make sure you’re ready. Help someone else check theirs too.

🕒 Under 1 Hour

  • Textbank or phonebank. Most orgs will train you in 10 minutes and give you a script. You don’t have to improvise.
  • Email your local officials. Doesn’t need to be fancy. Say what matters and sign your name.
  • Make a small donation. Mutual aid groups, legal defense funds, and clinic support networks can do a lot with $5.

🔧 A Few Hours a Month

  • Volunteer regularly. Find a group that’s doing work you care about and show up. Keep showing up.
  • Join a local board or committee. Neighborhood council, school board, tenant union - whatever’s near you.
  • Start something small. A resource doc, a group chat, a monthly meetup. Doesn’t have to be big to be useful.

🔥 Full Commitment

  • Join your local party chapter. If you don’t like how it runs, show up and vote. That's how it changes.
  • Start an organization. If something’s missing where you live, build it. You’re allowed to try.
  • Run for office. Doesn’t have to be Congress. School board counts. Library trustee counts. You count.
